By placing an order with Gold & Treasure, you agree to the terms below. They are written to protect both of us, and to make sure we both know what to expect.
01Who we are
Gold & Treasure is a small atelier registered in Brooklyn, New York. We design, finish, and ship gold-plated objects directly to private customers across the United States and most international markets.
02Placing an order
An order is only confirmed once you receive a written confirmation from us by email. We reserve the right to decline an order at our discretion — typically only in cases of stock error, suspected fraud, or destinations we cannot ship to safely.
03Pricing & currency
All prices on the site are in US dollars and exclude any local sales tax or import duty that may apply at the destination. Tax estimates are shown at checkout for transparency before you pay.
04Intellectual property
All photography, copy, and design on this site is the property of Gold & Treasure and may not be reproduced commercially without written permission. We are happy for you to share images of your purchases — please tag us if you do.
Privacy policy.
We collect only what we need to send you a parcel and a follow-up letter. We do not sell your data. We do not share it with anyone outside the small handful of services that help us run the shop.
01What we collect
- Your name, shipping address, email, and phone (the things a parcel needs).
- A record of your orders and any correspondence with our care team.
- Anonymous traffic data — the pages you visited, the country you visited from.
02Who we share with
- Our shipping partners (UPS, USPS, FedEx) so they can deliver the parcel.
- Our payment processor, so they can complete the transaction.
- Our email service, so we can write back when you write to us.
We will never sell your details, and we will never email you anything you did not subscribe to. If we ever change this, we will tell you in plain language, in advance.
03Your rights
You may request a copy of all data we hold about you, or its deletion, at any time. Write to studio@goldtreasure.shop and we will action it within seven days.
Returns & refunds.
If a piece does not earn its place on your shelf, send it back. We mean this.
01The 14-day window
You have 14 days from the moment your parcel arrives to request a return. The piece must be unused and returned in its original linen wrap and presentation box. We refund in full, including the original shipping cost.
02How to return
A pre-paid return label is included with every shipment — drop the parcel at any UPS or USPS location. If you need a fresh label, write to studio@goldtreasure.shop with your order number.
03Refunds
Refunds are processed within five business days of the parcel's arrival back at the studio, to the original payment method. Your bank may take a further 2–5 business days to display the credit.
04Lifetime re-finishing
Beyond the return window, every Gold & Treasure piece is covered by lifetime re-finishing. Send any piece back at any age, and we will re-plate, re-buff, and return it to you — for the cost of postage only.
Wholesale terms.
We work with a small number of independent retailers and concept stores across the United States and select international markets. The notes below outline how that relationship works.
01Eligibility
Stockists are reviewed quarterly. Send a brief introduction with your store name, location, and a few images to press@goldtreasure.shop. We reply to every fit within four weeks.
02Minimums & terms
Opening orders begin at $1,200 wholesale, with re-orders at $600. Standard wholesale margin is 2.2×. Net 30 terms are available to established accounts.
03Press & imagery
A press kit with hi-res still life and lifestyle imagery is available on request for editorial use. Email press@goldtreasure.shop with the publication and the piece(s) you have in mind.
