How long does shipping take?
Most orders ship within 1–2 business days from our Brooklyn, NY studio. Domestic standard delivery is 3–5 business days; express is 1–2. International orders typically arrive in 7–14 business days.
Do you offer free shipping?
Yes — complimentary US standard shipping on every order over $80. Below that, a flat $8 fee applies. Express and heirloom packaging tiers are available at checkout.
Do you ship internationally?
Yes, to most countries worldwide. Rates are calculated at checkout. Customs and import duties are determined by the destination country and are the recipient's responsibility.
How can I track my order?
A tracking link is emailed within 24 hours of dispatch. You can also write studio@goldtreasure.shop with your order number — replies arrive within one business day.
Can I change my address after ordering?
If the order has not yet shipped, yes. Email studio@goldtreasure.shop with the new address as quickly as possible. After dispatch we can usually only intercept via the carrier — not always successful.
What's in the box?
Each piece arrives wrapped in archival linen, nestled in a presentation box, with a handwritten note and care cloth. Heirloom packaging adds a letter-pressed card and outer presentation sleeve.
Returns & after-care.
What's your return policy?
14 days from delivery, no questions asked. Pieces must be unused and in original packaging. A pre-paid return label is included with every shipment — drop it at any UPS or USPS location.
How do I clean and care for the gold finish?
Use the included microfibre cloth for everyday polishing. Avoid water, perfume, and household cleaners on the plating. For deeper cleaning, mild soap on a damp cloth, then dry immediately. Detailed care notes ship with every order.
Will the plating tarnish?
Pure 24K gold does not tarnish or oxidise. Visible wear may appear in high-contact areas after years of use. Our lifetime re-finishing service restores any piece to its original mirror finish.
Do you offer lifetime re-finishing?
Yes. Send any Gold & Treasure piece back at any age — we'll re-plate, re-buff, and return it for the cost of postage only. No expiration. No proof of purchase required; we keep records.
How do I request a return label?
A return label is included with every shipment, but if you need a replacement email studio@goldtreasure.shop with your order number. We respond within one business day.
The object itself.
Is the gold real?
Yes. Every piece is hand-dipped in a 24-karat gold plating bath. The finish is genuine gold, applied at museum-conservation thickness for lasting brilliance.
What's the base material?
Solid brass, hand-cast in our atelier and finished in 24K gold. Brass gives the heft of a real object — these are not hollow, lacquered castings.
How heavy is each piece?
Weights vary by object — listed on every product page. Most desk pieces fall between 220g and 640g. Tabletop and decorative objects can range up to 1.4kg.
Can I get a piece engraved?
Yes — most pieces support a hand-engraved monogram or short inscription for an additional $12. Add the option at checkout, or note it in the order comments.
Do you accept commissions?
We open a small commission window twice a year. Email studio@goldtreasure.shop with a description of what you have in mind and we'll send a brief if a window is open.
Are pieces hand-finished?
Every piece is finished by hand at our Brooklyn studio — buffed, plated, and inspected by a person, not a machine. Small variations are part of how each one comes to be.
Wholesale & press.
Do you offer wholesale?
Yes. We work with a small number of independent retailers and concept stores. Email press@goldtreasure.shop for our wholesale catalog, terms, and minimum order quantities.
How do I become a stockist?
Send a brief introduction to press@goldtreasure.shop with your store name, location, and a few images. We review applications quarterly and reply to every fit within four weeks.
Where do I send press inquiries?
press@goldtreasure.shop. Lookbooks, founder interviews, and high-resolution imagery are available on request. We do our best to respond within two business days.
Do you provide product images?
Yes — a press kit with hi-res still life and lifestyle imagery is available for editorial use. Email press@goldtreasure.shop with the publication and the piece(s) you have in mind.
